Xentry Pass Thru is the version of Mercedes diagnostics that is given to non Mercedes dealership garages This works using J2534 Adapters some common adapters that are confirmed working are:

Openport 2.0 Original or Clone
GoDiag J2534
VCX SE

Xentry Openshell is the same Version used by the Mercedes dealership
To use this version you need to have a Mercedes C4/C6 Multiplexor
a VCX SE will also work with Openshell but it must have the benz licence in order for it to work.

The C3 Multiplexor will work with xentry but only the 2014 version anything newer will not work here at MBAutocode we dont supply the 2014 version.

If your car is older than 2006 you will not be able to use Xentry Pass Thru.
Xentry Pass Thru only works with CANBUS vehicles which is any vehicle after 2006 .

In order to work on a vehicle older than 2006 you would need a C4 Multiplexor and Xentry Openshell.
